BTMS or Behentrimonium methosulfate is a non-sulfate, quaternary ammonium compound derived from the Colza or Rapeseed oil. This Brassicaceae-related plant produces bright yellow flowers. BTMS is used in many hair care products as a mild moisturizer, detangler and conditioner.
